Dr Richard Chung has been a resident of Long Beach since 1972. Attending Kettering Elementary, Bethany Jr High and Brethren High School. Dr Chung went on to graduate from UC Irvine. Dr Chung had several wisdom teeth extracted when he was 19 and that's when he developed a compassion for dental patients. He graduated from USC School of Dentistry in 1997 and has practiced in Long Beach since 1998. Later, he completed a residency in cosmetic dentistry with Esthetic Dental Professionals. He has taught at the USC Dental School as a clinical instructor working with the many athletes that are treated in the Emergency and Sports Dental Department. Married to an R.N., Dr Chung and his wife have three wonderful children and enjoy driving them to cello, piano, tennis and baseball. Dr Chung enjoys all aspects of dentistry and especially enjoys making patients feel comfortable.
